DST CALLING PROMISING STARTUPS TO BE THE PART OF NIDHI4COVID 2.0 INITIATIVE

NIDHI4COVID 2.0 is a specially devised initiative carved out by NSTEDB, DST to support the development and deployment of new technologies and innovative products/services which would enable our country to fight the ongoing war against the COVID-19 pandemic more strongly.

To add, as you are already aware, in the year 2020 during the early onset of the first wave of Covid-19. NSTEDB had launched the initiative Centre for Augmenting WAR with COVID-19 Health Crisis (CAWACH). Over 50+ promising startups in five thematic areas have been supported through CAWACH funds in the year 2020. many CAWACH funded and validated products are /about to enter in the market.

To name a few;

1. Ventilator & Respiratory Care devices by Noccarc Robotics Pvt Ltd.

2. Rapid Diagnostics kit for detection of both antigen & antibodies by Patanjali Pharma Pvt Ltd.

3. Smartphone assisted screening and remote monitoring by Acculi Labs Pvt. Ltd.

4. Electrochemical Platform for COVID-19 Antibody Test by PathShodh Healthcare Private Limited and many more.

The NIDHI4COVID 2.0 initiative is based on our successful implementation of CAWACH as well as the ongoing flagship program of Seed Support under NIDHI.

It is hereby informed that the applications for the current call of Nidhi4Covid 2.0 were opened from 19th May 2021 and the last date to apply is 31st May, 2021.
