OUTLINE OF THE PROGRAM
1. Application phase is open apply before May 6th, 2023.
- Take 10 minutes of your time for filling in the application form

2. Market Discovery Training begins from May 2023
- 12 Startups will be selected to participate in the online training
- 4 online sessions with 1.5 hours expert input
- Two tracks: MedTech and LifeSciences
- Working on your individual market entry strategy
- Analyzing and researching the market
- Meet Industry Experts
3. Individual Onboarding Program from September 2023
- The best 3 companies will be selected to participate in the Onboarding Program
- Individually planned 3 months of co-living and co-working in Mannheim (consecutively or with breaks)
- Individual support with visa issues
- Closing deals and starting first pilot projects
- Individual support by your Market Entry Manager
- Not covered: costs for traveling and food

Mannheim is a modern industrial city in the southwest of Germany, located in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. Mannheim has 300.000 inhabitants from over 170 regions and is the most international and diverse city in Germany. In the area, big corporates, hidden champions and world market leaders such as SAP, BASF, Siemens, John Deere, Heidelberg Cement, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, ADM Wild, HIMA GmbH, KAMAX etc. have their headquarters or subsidies here. Also MedTech and Pharma companies such as Roche, Pfizer and the university clinics of Heidelberg and Mannheim are located here.

From the incoming application we will select 12 startups per track (MedTech and LifeSciences) to participate in the Market Discovery Training.

Anna Hüttl is Manager Startup Ecosystem at NEXT MANNHEIM. She leads the regional accelerator program Up2B for B2B and IndustryTech Startups and supports international startups entering the German market. In the last 4 years she has supported over 120 international startups with their market entry strategy in individual sessions, online trainings and on-site programs.
Prior to that, Anna worked for a middle-sized consulting company in the field of Online Marketing and developed knowledge-based online products for the German Mittelstand on topics such as process management, hiring and recruiting, sales and operations and led various online-marketing campaigns such as online-seminars, e-mail-campaigns and Facebook campaigns. With her knowledge and expertise in online marketing and strategic planning she supported SMEs and startups.
Parallely, she studied the executive Master of digital Pioneering at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen, where she combined her SME knowledge with innovation management and startup support. She finished her Bachelor’s in sociology in Eichstätt and Paris. The combination of innovation, economy and social sciences leads to an overall view and an holistic support and consulting for international startups.
